Notting Hill Courtyard Extension

Made Of Space was responsible for the concept design, planning application and technical design stages of a small courtyard infill extension in Notting Hill in London’s Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. We prepared and coordinated the planning application to the local council and advised our client on the discharge of planning conditions. We also prepared and advised on the Building Control application.

The property consists of a basement floor with the front facing of busy Portobello Road. A further ground floor space was facing a rear courtyard, which is hosting kitchen and dining spaces and the courtyard infill extension. The proposed extension envisioned a full glass extension to maximise internal daylight in the refurbished dining and kitchen spaces.
