Step 2 - Visit your site

- take the direct Avanti West Coast train from London Euston to Wrexham General
- visit the Wrexham Gateway * site, including the Racecourse Ground and nearby Wrexham University **
- get some chips and gravy (and thick, buttered toast!) from The Turf’s Butty van and enjoy in the pub
- pick up an original Ruabon brick ***
- visit Chirk Castle and capture a slow motion video of the Welsh flag


* on non-matchdays it is difficult to distinguish between Wrexham AFC supporters and employees of the Royal Mail

** Previously known as the Denbighshire Technical College. In 1956 the now listed building received a RIBA architectural award due to its design and innovative technical features

*** Ruabon is a village in the southern part of Wrexham County Borough. The area is well known for the production of its distinctively red bricks, used in many buildings throughout the UK. Buildings of Ruabon Red Bricks include Liverpool University or Ibrox Stadium for Glasgow Rangers FC, designed by stadium architect Archibald Leitch. Maybe soon Y Cae Ras too?
